Dear Alexander #019: Your Last Breath

It seems that life is made up of a finite number of breaths. As each one passes, you grow nearer to your last. But don’t let that dissuade you from living and taking advantage of the next breath you have. Let it ignite a fire under you to live in service to excellence, and make those that came before you proud, and better, as a result of interacting with you.

When you take your last breath the world won’t stop for you, in fact, even the people closest to you will only stop for a brief moment in time before moving on. Why would you want it any other way? While you are living, give your world around you fuel to propel it forward. Try and give it so much that the fuel lasts long after you’re gone, and the people who are closest to you, are ignited with that same fire you once had.
